Introduction to Basic Electronics Class Description:

The Miami Tech School Basic Electronics class starts off with a day of basic Electricity and Electronics, meter use, and component testing.  This provides a solid foundation for the novice technician, and a great review for the experienced.  That is followed by four days of intense exposure to all of today's latest diagnostic equipment.  This exposure is in the form of practical solutions to typical problems seen in current electronically controlled transmissions.  Students will gain the knowledge required to diagnose problems in the shop on their own using the latest meters, scanners, waveform viewers, scopes, computer interfaces, and more.

This hotel is even closer, a 5 minute walk, however it is a little bit higher in price. In order to receive a special rate, you will have to speak directly with reservations. This hotel will take credit cards or cash, no checks unless you have prior credit approval. This hotel also provides complimentary airport transportation for their guests which the Ramada does not.

Introduction to Allison 1000/2000 Class Description:

This week long class will cover tear down and assembly, theory of operation, on vehicle diagnosis and scan tool diagnostics. This will give the technician a better understanding of how this transmission operates to keep it out of the shop and on the road.
